Refund policy

ASIRRIS INC. — Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

Effective Date: August 31, 2026

Thank you for choosing ASIRRIS INC.

This policy explains the return, refund, exchange and warranty procedures applicable to products purchased from ASIRRIS INC. through ASIRRIS.ca.

ASIRRIS is an authorized reseller of the brands offered on our website. Because return and warranty conditions may vary by manufacturer and product, this general policy must be read together with the applicable Manufacturer Policy.

Where a manufacturer-specific policy provides more specific return, refund, exchange or warranty conditions for a product, those conditions apply to that product, subject at all times to applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights or legal warranties available under applicable law.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless a return right is specifically provided by the applicable manufacturer policy or otherwise confirmed by ASIRRIS in writing, purchases are final for change-of-mind returns.

A change-of-mind return includes situations where the product:

  • Is no longer wanted;
  • Was ordered by mistake;
  • Does not suit the customer's personal preferences;
  • Is no longer required; or
  • Is being returned for a reason unrelated to a defect, damage, shipping error or other applicable right.

Some manufacturers offer voluntary return periods, including 14-day or 30-day return windows for eligible products.

Where such a return period applies, the conditions, deadlines, shipping costs and any applicable restocking deductions stated in the relevant manufacturer policy will apply.

2. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact ASIRRIS as soon as possible.

If the order has not yet been shipped, ASIRRIS will make reasonable efforts to cancel it before dispatch.

Once an order has entered processing or has been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If ASIRRIS or the carrier is able to intercept a shipment after dispatch, reasonable carrier interception or return shipping charges may apply where permitted by law and where the cancellation is not caused by an error on our part.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory cancellation right available under applicable consumer protection law.

3. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Incomplete Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your order:

  • Arrives damaged;
  • Contains the wrong product;
  • Is missing components;
  • Appears defective or malfunctioning; or
  • Has another delivery-related issue,

please contact contact@asirris.ca and provide your order number along with clear photos, videos or other relevant information that will help us assess the situation.

For visible shipping damage or missing items, we strongly recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery whenever possible. Prompt reporting helps us document the condition of the shipment and submit any necessary carrier claim.

Failure to report an issue within 48 hours does not, by itself, waive any applicable manufacturer warranty, legal warranty or mandatory consumer right.

Where a manufacturer policy establishes a specific reporting period for transportation damage, Dead on Arrival (DOA) products or another manufacturer remedy, that period may apply to the manufacturer's commercial remedy.

4. Return Authorization

Do not ship a product back without prior authorization.

Before returning a product, the customer must contact ASIRRIS. Depending on the product and circumstances, ASIRRIS will provide the applicable instructions or coordinate the return procedure with the manufacturer.

Approved returns may require a Return Authorization (RA/RMA) number and may need to be shipped to ASIRRIS, a Canadian service centre, the manufacturer or another warehouse designated by the manufacturer.

The applicable return address and shipping instructions will be provided after authorization.

Sending a product to ASIRRIS, a manufacturer or another address without prior authorization may result in delays and may prevent the shipment from being properly identified or processed.

This administrative requirement does not limit any mandatory consumer right provided by applicable law.

5. Condition of Returned Products

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable manufacturer policy, an authorized voluntary return should include:

  • The product;
  • All components and modules originally supplied;
  • All accessories;
  • Chargers and power supplies;
  • Documentation and manuals; and
  • Original packaging and protective materials where reasonably available.

The product should also be appropriately cleaned, emptied of water or debris where applicable, and safely packaged for transportation.

Normal testing permitted under an applicable manufacturer return policy will not automatically make a product ineligible for return.

However, deductions may apply where permitted under the applicable return policy for:

  • Missing components or accessories;
  • Missing packaging requiring replacement or repackaging;
  • Damage beyond normal evaluation or testing;
  • Excessive wear;
  • Cleaning required because of the condition in which the product was returned; or
  • Other costs specifically provided for in the applicable manufacturer return policy.

Damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized modification or repair, improper maintenance or operation contrary to the manufacturer's instructions may not qualify for a voluntary return or manufacturer warranty.

Nothing in this section excludes any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Responsibility for return shipping depends on the reason for the return and the applicable manufacturer policy.

Where a return results from a confirmed defect, shipping damage, incorrect product or error attributable to ASIRRIS or the manufacturer, return shipping will be handled in accordance with the applicable manufacturer policy and applicable law.

For an approved change-of-mind or other voluntary return, return shipping may be the customer's responsibility.

Where the customer is responsible for return shipping, ASIRRIS may:

  • Ask the customer to arrange shipping using a tracked service; or
  • Provide a return label and deduct its cost from the applicable refund.

Customers should retain proof of shipment and tracking information until the return has been completed.

7. Refunds

Refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and, where applicable, inspected and approved.

Unless otherwise provided by the applicable manufacturer policy, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on the product, manufacturer and nature of the return. Once ASIRRIS issues a refund, the customer's bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

The refund amount may be adjusted only where permitted by the applicable return policy or applicable law, including for:

  • Return shipping for voluntary returns;
  • Applicable manufacturer restocking fees;
  • Missing components;
  • Authorized repackaging costs; or
  • Damage or deterioration beyond what is permitted under the applicable return conditions.

ASIRRIS does not apply one universal restocking fee to every product. Any restocking or return deduction depends on the applicable product and manufacturer policy.

Taxes will be refunded, where applicable, based on the final refundable amount.

8. Warranty Service, Repairs, Exchanges & Replacements

ASIRRIS is the first point of contact for products purchased from ASIRRIS.

If you experience a problem with your product, please contact ASIRRIS before attempting to open, disassemble, repair or modify the product.

ASIRRIS will collect the information necessary to document and assess the issue. Depending on the circumstances and the manufacturer's procedures, we may request:

  • Photos or videos;
  • The product serial number;
  • Error messages or error codes;
  • Screenshots or information from the manufacturer's application;
  • Configuration or operational checks;
  • Diagnostic information; or
  • Any other information reasonably required to establish the nature of the issue.

ASIRRIS may perform or guide the customer through preliminary troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures authorized by the manufacturer.

ASIRRIS will then communicate the relevant information to the manufacturer and work with the manufacturer to determine the appropriate next steps.

Manufacturer-Authorized Repairs

ASIRRIS does not open, disassemble or repair products where such intervention must be performed by the manufacturer or an authorized service centre under the manufacturer's warranty.

Where an internal inspection, repair or other physical intervention is required, the customer may be required to ship the product directly to the manufacturer or to an authorized service centre designated by the manufacturer.

ASIRRIS will provide or coordinate the applicable instructions, return authorization and shipping information based on the manufacturer's procedure.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable warranty, the resolution may include:

  • Remote technical assistance;
  • Troubleshooting or diagnostics;
  • Replacement of a component where authorized by the manufacturer;
  • Inspection by the manufacturer or an authorized service centre;
  • Repair;
  • Product replacement;
  • Exchange; or
  • Refund where applicable.

Where an exchange or replacement is approved, the original product may need to be returned before a replacement product is released.

Customers should not open, disassemble, modify or attempt unauthorized repairs on a product, as doing so may affect the manufacturer's commercial warranty, subject to applicable law.

9. Promotional, Discounted & Final-Sale Items

Products purchased during a promotion, with a discount code, at a reduced price, on clearance or identified as final sale are final sale for change-of-mind purposes, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or in the applicable manufacturer policy.

A promotional or discounted price does not remove:

  • An applicable manufacturer warranty;
  • Rights relating to a defective or non-conforming product; or
  • Any mandatory right or legal warranty provided by applicable law.

10. Pre-Orders

Pre-order products may be subject to estimated availability and shipping dates displayed on the product page or communicated at the time of purchase.

Estimated dates may change due to manufacturing, transportation, customs, inventory or other circumstances outside ASIRRIS's reasonable control.

Customers who wish to cancel a pre-order should contact ASIRRIS as soon as possible.

Any statutory rights applicable to delayed delivery, non-delivery or cancellation remain unaffected.

11. Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by ASIRRIS include a limited commercial warranty provided by the manufacturer.

Warranty duration, covered components, exclusions, procedures and remedies vary by manufacturer and product.

Please consult the applicable:

Residential Manufacturer Policies
or
Commercial Manufacturer Policies

for product-specific information.

ASIRRIS acts as the first point of contact and assists customers with warranty requests for products purchased from ASIRRIS.

After receiving the necessary information, ASIRRIS may perform authorized preliminary troubleshooting, document the issue and communicate with the manufacturer to determine the appropriate procedure.

Internal inspections, disassembly, repairs or other technical interventions covered by the manufacturer's warranty must be performed by the manufacturer or an authorized service centre when required by the manufacturer.

In these situations, the customer may be required to ship the product directly to the service location designated by the manufacturer.

ASIRRIS remains available to assist the customer and facilitate communication throughout the warranty process.

A manufacturer's commercial warranty is separate from and additional to any legal warranties provided by applicable law.

12. Legal Warranties & Consumer Rights

This policy and the manufacturer policies available through ASIRRIS are provided in addition to, and do not limit, mandatory rights available under applicable federal or provincial consumer protection laws.

For purchases subject to Quebec consumer protection law, products sold by a merchant are automatically protected by applicable legal warranties, including warranties relating to:

  • Normal use;
  • Reasonable durability;
  • Conformity with the product description and representations made about it; and
  • Hidden defects.

These legal warranties exist independently of any manufacturer's limited commercial warranty and may provide protection beyond the duration stated in a manufacturer's warranty.

ASIRRIS's role as the customer's first point of contact and the fact that warranty repairs may be physically performed by the manufacturer or an authorized service centre do not limit any rights or remedies available to the consumer under applicable law.

Where applicable, ASIRRIS will receive and assess the customer's request, document the issue and coordinate with the manufacturer. Where a technical intervention must be carried out by the manufacturer or its authorized service centre, the product may then be directed to that facility in accordance with the applicable procedure.

If any provision of this policy or a manufacturer policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the applicable law prevails.

13. Abuse, Fraud & Unauthorized Returns

ASIRRIS reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to investigate return or warranty requests involving suspected fraud, abuse, product substitution, serial-number alteration or other deceptive activity.

Products may not qualify for a voluntary return where serial numbers or identifying information have been removed, altered or substituted.

This provision does not limit legitimate warranty claims or mandatory rights available under applicable law.

14. Commercial & Professional Purchases

Certain products sold by ASIRRIS are intended for commercial or professional use.

Manufacturer warranties, return procedures and service conditions for commercial products may differ from those applicable to residential consumer products.

Where a transaction is not governed by consumer protection legislation, the applicable sales agreement, quotation, invoice and commercial manufacturer policy may contain additional or different terms.

Please consult our Commercial Manufacturer Policies for additional information.
